PURPOSE: A mobile terminal is provided to perform a volume adjustment by operating a plug. CONSTITUTION: A housing (310) is disposed inside of a terminal body. The housing has a hollow portion where a plug is rotatably inserted into from the outside of the terminal body. A detecting unit (330) is arranged in a portion adjacent to the plug and senses rotation of the plug. A control unit controls a volume of an audio that is outputted from the terminal body depending to a degree of the rotation of the plug.
