PURPOSE: A casting machine for manufacturing a piston is provided to improve a work productivity of casting a piston by facilitating assembly and disassembly of a molding apparatus with a simple sliding action. CONSTITUTION: A casting machine(100) for manufacturing a piston comprises a molten metal transferring unit(110), a first mold unit(120), a second mold unit(130), a transfer direction changing unit(140), and a discharge unit. The molten metal transferring unit transfers a molten metal on a top of a furnace. The first mold unit is disposed in one side of the molten metal transferring unit and molds a side part of a piston with the injected molten metal. The second molding unit comprises an upper core(131) and a lower core(132). The upper core is mounted on an upper part of the first mold unit and molds an upper part of the piston. The lower core is mounted on a lower part of the first mold unit and molds a lower part of the piston. The molten metal transferring unit is connected to one side of the upper core, withdraws the molded piston, and moves the piston by rotation. The discharge unit discharges the piston that is withdrawn from the molten metal transferring unit. |
