PURPOSE: A device for roasting the meat is provided to lift a roasting plate in the proper height to fit the range of roasting or the intension of the thermal power generated from a heating source inside a cooking stove when roasting the meat. CONSTITUTION: A device for roasting the meat comprises a main body unit (16), a cooking stove (18), a pair of lead screws (22), a pair of chain wheels (26), a steering wheel (28), a roasting plate (32), and a pair of lift members (30). The cooking stove accommodates a heating source in the inside and is mounted on a mounting plate of the main body unit. The pair of lead screws rotates on the spot according to the approval of an external force while forming a screw unit facing to the opposite direction in front and rear sides of the outer circumference surface. The pair of chain wheels is mutually connected by a chain (24) while being connected to the front end of the lead screw. The steering wheel directly supplies a rotary force to the chain wheel. The pair of lift members is moved to a central part or both ends of the lead screw when the lead screw connected to the chain wheel is rotated. The roasting plate is detachably installed between the lift members. |
