PURPOSE: An antifouling paint composition is provided to control various molecular weight distribution, thereby capable of controlling antifouling performance, abrasion rate, and coating performance. CONSTITUTION: An antifouling paint composition is obtained by polymerization of a binder resin, metal oxide, and organic antifouling agent. The binder resin comprises a carboxy group-containing ester compound of a branched structure in chemical formula 1 of which hydroxy group in terminal of polyhydric alcohol is combined with fatty acids and acid anhydride; a transition metal-containing ester compound in chemical formula 2, a transition metal compound comprising an unsaturated double bond, and a radically polymerizable monomer comprising an unsaturated double bond. |
