PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing a wire mesh connecting body for the dual exhaust pipe of a car is provided to improve work efficiency and productivity and to improve the density of a mesh with overlapping, bending, and compressing both ends of the mesh. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a wire mesh connecting body for the dual exhaust pipe of a car includes a knitting machine (100) and a bending unit (200). The knitting machine comprises a frame, a knitting unit, a tension unit, and a driving unit. The knitting unit manufactures an at least two-layered mesh using a wire. The tension unit tensions the knitted mesh. The driving unit drives the knitting unit and the tension unit. The bending unit is fed with the mesh, longitudinally overlaps and bends both sides of the mesh in order to improve the density of the mesh, and then ejects the mesh.
