PURPOSE: A method of indicating status information of a relay from which malfunction of the power state can be monitored, and problems can be intuitively known and a relay using the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: A method of indicating status information of a relay includes a step which stores a normal action range of a power Information value (S100); a step of measuring a current power value (S110); a step of comparing the measure power value with a stored normal range (S120); a step of determining whether the power value is within the normal range (S130); a step of continuously measuring a power value if the power value is within the normal range, or determining whether the power status is normal if otherwise (S140); a step of informing indicating that the power status is abnormal if it is determined as abnormal (S150).
