摘要 PURPOSE: A mechanical brake for a hoist having multiple spirals and a processing method of multiple spirals are provided to easily release braking when a hoist work for hoisting freight is stopped due to a power failure. CONSTITUTION: A mechanical brake for a hoist having multiple spirals comprises a drive shaft (50), a boss (51), a mechanical flange (52), a disc member (53), a first brake wheel (55), a ratchet wheel (56), and a second brake wheel (57). The drive shaft is connected to a drive motor. The boss is integrally coupled to the drive shaft. The mechanical flange is coupled to the drive shaft. The disc member is fixed to the mechanical flange and is screwed on the boss to be axially movable along the driving direction of the drive motor. The first brake wheel is coupled to the inner end of a boss part (54) of the disc member to be axially movable. The ratchet wheel is coupled to the outer end of the boss part of the disc member and is rotated by a pole. The second brake wheel is integrally coupled to the boss. First spirals formed on the outer periphery of the boss and second spirals formed on the inner periphery of the disc member form multiple spirals.
