PURPOSE: A cooling system for a vehicle air conditioner is provided to rapidly supply cold air to the inside a vehicle by converting a part of solar energy into electric energy using a solar cell, storing a refrigerant using the electric energy, and expanding and evaporating the refrigerant when an engine is started. CONSTITUTION: A cooling system for a vehicle air conditioner comprises a solar cell (100), a chargeable battery (110), and a start motor (120). The solar cell converts solar energy into electric energy. The chargeable battery stores the electricity produced by the solar cell. The start motor is rotated by the power source supplied from the solar cell and powers a compressor (10).
