PURPOSE: A ship communication controlling apparatus and a method thereof are provided to select a communication network according to a location of a ship and to select a communication network based on data fee of a communication network. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(115) receives a paging signal from a plurality of communication networks. A location setting unit(120) decides a location of a ship. The location setting unit generates ship location information. A selection processing unit(130) receives a connection request signal. The selection processing unit selects a communication network by using the paging signal, the paging signal, or ship location information. |
