A mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same are provided to implement more diverse and plentiful expressions in making out a message or using a mobile messenger by enabling a user to create a 3 dimensional shape and to transmit it to another mobile terminal. A mobile terminal comprises an input part(30), a communication module(10), and a control part(20). The input part(30) is provided to input a command to input a 3 dimensional shape. The communication module(10) enables data communication with another mobile terminal. The control part(20) adjusts the stereophonic volume of the inputted 3 dimensional shape. Also the control part(20) transmits a message containing the 3 dimensional shape through the communication module(10). The input part(30) has at least a key to adjust the stereophonic volume of the 3 dimensional shape. The control part(20) makes the stereophonic volume of the 3 dimensional shape increased or decreased according to key input time or key input frequency. |
