PURPOSE: Telephone number automatic storage method and mobile communication terminal applying the same are provided to relieve a burden of a user by automatically storing telephone number inputted into an item of a stored telephone number. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit (110) receives a text message. An input telephone number is included in the text message. A memory (160) stores address book data including the stored telephone number. If the last four digits between the input telephone number and stored telephone number, a control unit (180) confirms that the input telephone number and stored telephone number are matched with each other. The control unit controls the memory to store the input telephone number by replacing the stored telephone number.
