CATALYTIC MATERIALS FOR FACILITATING REDUCTION AND SEDIMENTATION OF CHROMIUM (VI) AND PREPARING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Catalytic materials for facilitating reduction and sedimentation of chromium (VI) and a manufacturing method thereof, and a purification method of chromium (VI) contaminated water using the same are provided to have a simple manufacturing process and a fast effect on the reduction and the sedimentation for chromium (VI) without influence of the concentration or the temperature so that the chromium (VI) contaminated water is purified stably and effectively. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of catalytic materials for facilitating reduction and sedimentation of chromium (VI) comprises: a step of adding glucose to the precipitate of acid mine drainage; and a step of fermenting the glucose-added precipitate at anaerobic condition. The above reaction is progressed under the temperature of 20-30°C and pressure condition of 0.8-1.2 atm for 15-30 days.
