摘要 PURPOSE: A multi-use collision risk identifying support system is provided to prevent possible collision accidents among vessels from taking place by effectively identifying a vessel's or several vessels' risk of colliding with other vessels. CONSTITUTION: An input unit (100) receives information about one or more passing vessels via Automatic Radar Plotting Aids (ARPA) or Automatic Identification System (AIS). A calculation unit (200) analyzes the received information and calculates out the nearest time, the nearest distance, and a collision risk of the one or more passing vessels. A display unit (300) displays the collision risk of the one or more passing vessels, which is calculated by the calculation unit, on an electronic navigation chart.
