SPINDLE LOCKING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A device for locking a spindle is provided to stably maintain a locked state while preventing the spindle from idling when attaching and detaching a tool component and to save a product cost. CONSTITUTION: A device (100) for locking a spindle comprises a casing (160), a carrier (110), a lock cage (120), one or more lock pins (130), and a spindle (140). The carrier is formed inside the casing and is rotated by connecting with a gear box receiving the torque of a motor. The lock cage is positioned in the carrier and is fixed regardless of the rotation of the carrier. The lock pin is arranged between support protrusions protruded in the carrier with a gap and is fastened by the lock cage. The spindle is rotated by receiving the power of the motor connected to the center of the carrier.
