GRAIN-ORIENTED ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: Grain-oriented electrical sheets and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture grain oriented electrical steel sheets with drastically reduced iron loss by making the process of decarbornization and soaking easy with the control of the time of decarbornization and a surface oxide layer and then by performing high temperature annealing. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing grain-oriented electrical steel sheets comprises following steps: manufacturing steel slabs; manufacturing steel sheets by re-heating and hot-rolling the steel slabs and then annealing and cold-rolling the hot-rolled steel sheets; performing decarbornization and nitriding annealing for the steel sheets while controlling the oxidativity (PH20/PH2) in the heating zone as 0.15-0.6 and the oxidativity in the soaking zone as 0.4-0.7; and performing the final annealing for the steel sheets which passed through the process of decarbornization and nitriding annealing.
