PURPOSE: A device and a method for performances evaluation of a thermosyphone are provided to easily apply a thermosyphone in the field by calculating an optimal capacity according to the sorts of working fluid of the thermosyphone and evaluating performances of the thermosyphone. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for performances evaluation of a thermosyphone comprises a thermosyphone(110), a water reservoir(120), a heating coil(140), a temperature detecting sensor, and a control panel(160). The thermosyphone comprises a heater(112) condensing and devolatilizing working fluid(113) and an evaporator(111) evaporating the working fluid. The thermosyphone is two-phase changed so that the working fluid devolatilized by the heater is returned to the evaporator by the gravity. The water reservoir is installed in the heater and stores water in which a temperature is changed by heat generated in the heater. The heating coil continuously supplies the heat to the evaporator. The temperature detecting sensor installed in the water reservoir measures the temperature of the water. The control panel calculates a calorific value applied to the heating coil. |
