PURPOSE: A supplementary device for strengthening upper limb muscles is provided such that a user can perform muscle strengthening exercises without applying a load of the upper limbs muscle strengthening device by forming an apparatus for the user to mount arms of the user. CONSTITUTION: An upper limbs muscle strengthening supplementary device comprises a biosignal sensing electrode, a biosignal processing unit, a connecting link unit, a power sensor, a motion signal processing unit, and a motor. The biosignal sensing electrode measures an electromyogram signal of the upper limb muscle strength of a user. The biosignal processing unit analyzes motion timing of the user based on the measured electromyogram signal from the biosignal sensing electrode. The motion signal processing unit combines the analyzed information from the biosignal processing unit and the detected information from the power sensor and generates a signal for controlling a rotation angle and transportation of the connecting link unit. |
