An apparatus for inserting a medium in an automatic medium dispenser is provided to improve a keeping performance of a casing by preventing the medium from being detached from the casing. An apparatus for inserting a medium in an automatic medium dispenser includes a casing(40), a compression plate, and a opening/closing unit(60). The casing is installed inside a supporting frame of the automatic medium dispenser, and has an insertion space in which the medium is inserted. The compression plate is installed on an end of an elastic member which is installed in the insertion space of the casing and compresses a surface of the medium toward an ejection hole formed on the bottom surface of the casing. The opening/closing unit is installed on the ejection hole of the casing in order to open and close the ejection hole when the casing is installed in and removed from the supporting frame respectively. |
