PURPOSE: A position adjusting device for a gas detector is provided to move a position of the gas detector in left, right, upward, and downward directions through a gap control member, a vertical plate, and U-bolts. CONSTITUTION: A position adjusting device for a gas detector includes a connection bracket (20), a gap adjusting member (30), a vertical plate (40), and a pair of U-bolts. The connection bracket is vertically joined to the underside of the gas detector. An upper joining unit joined to the gas detector is formed on the upper part of the connection bracket, and a lower joining unit joined to the nut is formed on the lower part of the connection bracket. The gap adjusting member is mounted vertical to the connection bracket. A cylindrical connection unit is penetrated on a side of the gap adjusting member. A vertical plate joining unit is formed in the other side of the gap adjusting member. The vertical plate is joined to the vertical plate joining unit of the gap adjusting member. The U-bolts are screw-joined to the vertical plate and fixed to a pipe installed for marine construction.
