PURPOSE: A green tire holding unit of a green tire transporting device is provided to prevent the generation of cracks in a green tire and to maximize productivity by increasing accuracy of tire transportation. CONSTITUTION: A green tire holding unit of a green tire transporting device comprises a frame (10) which is connected to an electrical monorail system (EMS) which is a green tire transporting device; a motor (12) which is mounted on the frame; a ball screw (14) which receives the rotatory power of the motor; multiple main links (20) which are vertically movable according to the rotation of the ball screw by being connected through a nut unit (16) to the ball screw, and which is equipped with a segmentation unit (18) by being extended from the nut unit in all directions; multiple sub-links which are fixed on the end part of the ball screw which is rotated freely, which are equipped with a segmentation (22), and which are hinge-connected to the main link; an opening-holding unit (26) which is connected to one end part between the main link and the sub-link, and capable of holding or releasing a green tire by being opened or tightened by the interaction between the main link and the sub-link according to the rotation of the ball screw.
