PURPOSE: A ship is provided to enable a person to safely board the ship by lowering the installation position of a deck ladder to the bottom of a main deck. CONSTITUTION: A ship comprises a deck ladder loading space (100), an inner door, a deck ladder, a waterproof plate, and an operation unit. The deck ladder loading space is formed under a main deck (10) along the longitudinal direction of the ship and has an area opened outward. The inner door is formed on the inner side of the deck ladder loading space and is located at the moving path of a user. The deck ladder is loaded in the deck ladder loading space to be ascendable and descendible. The waterproof plate is formed under the deck ladder and covers the opened area of the deck ladder loading space when the deck ladder ascends. The operation unit ascends or descends the deck ladder.
