PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to minimize increase in the entire area by sharing components occupying relatively a large area in various types of pre-emphasis operation. CONSTITUTION: A main driving unit (200,210,220,230) drives a data output pad in response to each of a plurality of output data. A first auxiliary driving unit (240,250) drives the data output pad in the second level in response to shift of a logic level of previous data in the plurality of output data and corresponding data from the first level to the second level and maintenance of the second level. A second auxiliary driving unit (270,280) drives the data output pad in the first level in response to shift of a logic level of previous data in the plurality of output data and corresponding data from the second level to the first level and maintenance of the first level.
