There is shown a new grip-set that uses the traditional thumb-operated exterior thumb lever, which retracts the multi-point latching gear. The new total system and the new elements feature: multi-point door locking system with thumb operated retraction; simultaneous retraction of the deadbolt when the interior lever is operated (panic mode); reduced warping of exterior entry door panels; and independent deadbolt operation from multi-point gear operation. |
