<p>The invention relates to a process for tissue mapping with a view to determining tumour limits, both at the surface and in depth, while also pointing out tumour cell nests in the vicinity of the tumour. According to the invention, the process is based on plasmon resonance at the surface of gold nano particles placed in a dielectric medium with high refraction index, the said nano particles entering the tumour through arterioles and capillaries, the interstitial space and the cells and remain fixed in the tissue, and, upon performing a UV-spectrum assay, they emit a highly fluorescent light thus generating a particular tissue and tumour cells appearance.</p> |
