The drive device (100) has output shaft (125) to drive the wiper arm (105). The output shaft is pivoted in a pivot portion (170) about a rotation axis (145). A fixed handle is placed on the output shaft for introducing a torque in the output shaft. The stop element (185) is mounted in the region of boundary of the crank (135) to prevent movement of the crank over a predetermined end (175,180) of the pivot portion, when the output shaft is in a position corresponding to one end of the pivot portion.
