A system and a method for providing personal contents are provided to offer individually created contents to a mobile terminal simply in a remote place by storing the path of created contents in a contents creation server and providing the path information to a target mobile terminal through a message service. A system for providing personal contents comprises a contents creation server(10), a personal contents provider server(40), a message service server(30), and a mobile terminal(50). The contents creation server(10) converts various contents sources into contents for mobile terminals, and provides information about the paths of the converted contents and information about mobile terminals to receive the contents. The personal contents provider server(40) stores the contents path information received from the contents creation server(10), and makes a message transmission request containing access information based on the path information according to a request from the contents creation server(10). In response to the message transmission request, the message service server(30) transmits a message containing the access information. Based on the access information contained in the message transmitted from the message service server(30), the mobile terminal(50) receives the contents stored in a corresponding path from the contents creation server(10) and regenerates the received contents. |
