PURPOSE: A function execution method of a text editor using voice recognition is provided to detect a word corresponding to a function which is difficulty found through the voice recognition and maps the word as a shortcut key, thereby facilitating access to the function. CONSTITUTION: A text editing unit applies voice recognition processing for voice input(S4). The text editing unit obtains a command text corresponding to the voice input through the voice recognition processing(S5). The text editing unit compares a predetermined function menu for software of a text editor in a smart terminal with the command text(S6). The text editing unit extracts a function menu that similarity is over a predetermined critical value based on a comparison result(S8). A function execution unit applies the function menu to the software of the text editor(S9).
