PURPOSE: A crack inductive device of a slab and a solidification completion point detection method using the same are provided to facilitate to confirm the solidification completion point of a slab with high surface intensity. CONSTITUTION: A crack inductive device of a slab comprises a crack induction body(12). The crack induction body is formed with a predetermined thickness. The crack induction body is inserted in between a slab and a roll(3) to generate internal cracks in the slab. The thickness of the crack induction body becomes thick from the front end to the rear end. One side of the crack induction body is equipped with a guide plate(14) for guiding the crack induction body into a gap between the slab and roll.
