PURPOSE: A drying control method of an electronic washing machine is provided to improve user convenience by drying and eliminating the moisture of a wet umbrellas through the umbrella drying course of the electronic washing machine. CONSTITUTION: When an umbrella drying course is selected, a microcomputer discharges water by controlling a drainage valve(S1,S2). When a present water level of a washing tub is under a target water level, the control of the microcomputer executes a dewatering process with the control of the microcomputer motor(S3,S4). The microcomputer executes the dewatering process by rotating the motor with lower rotation speed than rotation speed for dewatering clothes. The microcomputer stops the motor according to the execution time of the dewatering process(S5,S6). The microcomputer repeats the dewatering process with the set number(S7,S8).
