The invention relates to a process for preparing ethyl-benzene. According to the invention, the process consists in benzene alkylation with bioethanol in a concentration of 99.9% and ethanol/water azeotrope, respectively, with a bioethanol concentration of 96.5%, where the alkylation reaction takes place at temperatures of 250...450°C, at benzene : ethanol molar ratios of 1:1 and 4:1, at pressures of 2...50 bar, a volumetric flow rate of 15...60 l/h, on a fixed-bed zeolitic catalyst, selected from ZSM-5 zeolite modified with metallic ions from the groups I, II, VIII and/or metallic ions from the lanthanide series.
|
