The invention relates to ecological pieces of furniture, such as couches or armchairs, as well as to a process for manufacturing the same. According to the invention, the furniture comprises a resistence structure (), made of solid wood, which delimits some plane or curved surfaces (), whereon there are applied some textile materials () with the role of consolidation, fastened on the surfaces (), delimited by the resistence structure (), in connection with some elements () made of polyurethane sponge, fastened on the consolidating textile material () and an upholstery () made of textile materials, leather or leather substitutes, which totally or partially cover the resistence structure (), the textile materials () with the role of consolidation and the polyurethane sponge (). According to the invention, the process comprises the following stages: the manufacturing of the resistence structure () made of solid wood specific to each type of product; the fastening of the textile materials () with the role of consolidation by tacking on the plane or curved surfaces (), delimited by the resistence structure (), the application of the polyurethane sponge (), by gluing, on the resistence structure () made of wood and the textile materials () with the role of consolidation and the application of the upholstery cloth () onto the resistance structure (), the textile materials () with the role of consolidation and the polyurethane sponge ().
