<p>The invention relates to a process for decolourizing and purifying the phthalic acid esters of the general formula ROOC-CH-COOR, wherein Ris a straight or branched C-Calkyl radical. According to the invention, the process consists in treating the raw ester with organic superacids of the formula RCOOOH, wherein Ris a C-Calkyl radical obtained in situ by the oxidation of the aliphatic acid RCOOH with oxygenated water, at atmospheric pressure and temperatures of 25...90°C, using doses of 0.5...5% as compared with the ester, followed by devolatilization, neutralization and filtration of the reaction mass.</p> |
