<p>The invention relates to a mechanism for adjusting the distance between the rollers of green fodder crushers, meant for fodder harvesting technical equipments which perform the operations of mowing, crushing and putting back onto the ground of the herbaceous fodder plants in continuous and uniform windrow in order to dry them naturally. According to the invention, the mechanism consists of two sub-assemblies symmetrically-mounted in relation to the longitudinal axis of the machine, on the outer side walls, each sub-assembly comprising a fixed plate () where an oblong cut-out () is made according to a linear axis () which corresponds with the displacement direction of a mobile roller () in relation to the fixed roller (), whereon there are hingedly mounted two arms (), a mobile plate () provided with a circular hole () whose centre is linearly displaced within the adjustment limits () along the longitudinal axis () of the oblong cut-out () from the fixed plate (), a resilient system for regulating the pressure between the rollers () with helical traction spring and screw and a system () for adjusting the minimal distance between the rollers () with screw and pin chain.</p> |
