STAINLESS CLAD PLATE AND METHOD FOR MAKING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A stainless clad plate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve corrosion resistance of a welding unit by minimizing eduction of aluminum based metal compound to plate surface and aluminum melting during welding. CONSTITUTION: A stainless clad plate is a stainless -aluminum-stainless clad plate and is protruded more than an inner aluminum plate. The relationship between thickness (a) of the stainless plate and length (b) of the protruded stainless plate satisfies the following formulas: 1 <= b/a <= 10. A manufacturing method of stainless clad steel comprises the following steps: preparing a stainless steel - aluminum - stainless steel clad plate; and protruding the clad plate more than the inner aluminum plate by melting the inner aluminum plate by processing with an acid or alkali liquid.
