PURPOSE: A freeze-drying conjugate construct is provided to be applied to immunochromatography by uniform reaction with a sample, and to enable quantitation with high reproducibility and linearity to concentration. CONSTITUTION: A freeze-drying conjugate construct is used for immunochromatography. The freeze-drying conjugate construct comprises a first marker for detecting a signal, and a first conjugate containing a first ligand which reacts with analyte. The first marker is physically or chemically linked with the first ligand. The conjugate construct is prepared by rapidly freezing a dispersion in which the first conjugate is dispersed in a solvent, and removing the solvent by freeze-drying. The porosity of the conjugate construct is 70-90%. A kit for immunoassay comprises the conjugate construct and a strip for immunochromatography.
