PATTERNED RETARDER HAVING SURFACE WITH CONVEX LENS

PURPOSE: A patterned retarder is provided to deliver a clear stereoscopic image by improving a crosstalk phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A patterned retarder forms a convex lens(20) which collects light passing through a retarder pattern(10). A value which is obtained by dividing a vertical axis direction radius by a horizontal axis direction radius in the convex lens is the same or bigger than 0.01. The horizontal axis direction radius of the convex lens has a range between 1μm and 350μm. The convex lens is separated from an adjacent convex lens at an interval which is the same or less than 20% of the horizontal axis radius direction and has a refractive index between 1.4 and 1.7.
