PURPOSE: A height adjusting handle and method are provided to ensure user convenience by automatically measuring the physical condition of a user and adjusting a height. CONSTITUTION: A height adjusting handle(110) comprises an adjustment part(114), a handle part, and a fixing part(115). The setting method of the height adjusting handle comprises the following steps: determining if a user uses a handle; sensing the height of the user; determining if the sensed height if correct when determining the user uses the handle; calculating the height of a user and user's hands using an equation when determining the height is correct; and automatically setting the calculated height.
