<p>The invention relates to a process and a device for forming contraction joints intended to permit the joint-separated concrete slabs or other concrete elements or elements made of other materials, such as gravel-cement, in which contraction occurs, to be left to support to one another, by their edges. According to the invention, the process consists in mechanically placing, in their preset positions, some devices () for forming contraction joints within concrete pavements, as well as some other devices (), as a consequence of concrete expansion, when still fresh. The device, as claimed by the invention, comprises two trays () provided with some vertical walls () and some substantially equal prism-shaped surfaces () arranged on each tray () on alternate sides in respect of the vertical walls () and so configured as to form joined recesses and projections between some adjacent teeth-shaped slabs supported by some surfaces () forming an angle of 0...10° in respect of the horizontal plane and having a relatively small downward inclination in respect of the vertical walls ().</p> |
