<p>THE PRESENT TECHNIQUE RELATES TO A METHOD OF OPTIMIZING SURFACE FITTING FOR A SHIP HULL WITH SIMULATED ANNEALING TECHNIQUE IS DISCLOSED. THE METHOD INCLUDES EXTRACTING A FIRST PLURALITY OF DATA OFFSETS CREATED FROM AN INITIAL SHIP HULL (202), WHEREIN THE FIRST PLURALITY OF DATA OFFSETS DEFINED FROM A SET OF SHIP HULL DRAWINGS. FURTHER, THE METHOD GENERATES A PLURALITY OF CONTROL POINTS FOR THE FIRST SURFACE USING A FIRST FITTING TECHNIQUE (204). ADDITIONALLY, THE METHOD INCLUDES GENERATING A SECOND PLURALITY OF DATA OFFSETS ON A FIRST COORDINATE DATA POINT FOR A FIRST SURFACE FOR THE SURFACE FITTING USING A FIRST INTERPOLATION TECHNIQUE (208). IN SIMILARITY, THE METHOD OPTIMIZES THE FIRST SURFACE ON A SECOND COORDINATE DATA POINT OR A THIRD COORDINATE DATA POINT USING A SIMULATED ANNEALING TECHNIQUE (210). IN PARTICULARITY, THE METHOD INCLUDES VALIDATING A SET OF RESULTS FOR CALCULATING ACCURACY OF A SHIP HULL SURFACE USING A TESTING TECHNIQUE (214).</p> |
