<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and a luminaire therewith which ensure a driving voltage of a high voltage switching element in a simple configuration using a simple element and dispense with a design change in resistance value depending on a load. <P>SOLUTION: A drive section 4 of the lighting device has a first impedance element having a first impedance determined in accordance with a power consumption of the drive section 4 in the duration of a predetermined time following control power supply from a control power supply section 6. A switching element Q1 is connected to a positive potential side of an output end of a DC power supply section 1, and an LED module 3 is connected to a zero potential side of an output end of the DC power supply section 1. As the switching element Q1 is turned on/off, a control power capacitor C2 for generating a driving signal is charged by the control power supply section 6 when the switching element Q1 is turned off. A second impedance element 8 is further provided which has a second impedance with a resistance component in a path where the control power supply section 6 can DC-charge the control capacitor C2 except when the switching element Q1 is turned on/off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
