<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a device that controls penetration, refraction, reflection, radiation, an incident angle, or magnitude of an electromagnetic wave with a simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave control device includes: a fluid material composed of a first fluid material 10, which is provided on a surface of a substrate 22, receives suction force or repulsive force generated by a magnetic field or an electric field, and is flowable on the substrate, and a second fluid material 11, which receives neither the suction force nor the repulsive force generated by the magnetic field or the electric field or receives a force in a direction opposite to that acting on the first fluid material generated by the magnetic field or the electric field and is flowable on the substrate; a sealing member that seals the fluid material on the surface of the substrate in a flowable manner; and a field distribution generating device 21 that variably generates a magnetic field distribution or an electric field distribution on the surface of the substrate, wherein penetration, refraction, reflection, radiation, or incidence of an electromagnetic wave is controlled by generating an arbitrary magnetic field distribution or electric field distribution on the surface of the substrate using the field distribution generating device and causing the first fluid material to move along the generated magnetic field distribution or electric field distribution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
