Provided is a press-formed product capable of inexpensively providing a shock-absorbing member having a high crushing load with respect to a 3-point bending load. The press-formed product of a steel plate (13) is provided with a main body (24) having a hat-shaped cross-sectional surface and also extending in one direction, wherein the cross-sectional surface has a bottom part (20a) and a shoulder part (20c) connected to the bottom part (20a) through an R tangent (25). In the cross-sectional surface, there are first regions (27) spaced apart by a predetermined distance in a direction where the bottom part (20a) extends from the R tangent (25), and second regions (28) which are a part of the bottom part (20a) and connected to the first regions (27). Herein, the first and second regions have a work-hardening distribution satisfying the relationship of Hv1>1.05×Hv2, where Hv1 is an average hardness over a region ranging from the surface of the steel plate (13) in the first region (27) introduced by press-molding the main body (24), up to a depth obtained by multiplying the thickness of the steel plate (13) by 0.2, and Hv2 is an average hardness over a region ranging from the surface of the steel plate (13) in the second region (28), up to a depth obtained by multiplying the thickness of the steel plate (13) by 0.2. |
