The invention relates to a device for interposition in a power-conducting electrical connection, comprising a first power input, a second power input, a first power output, a second power output, a first current-measuring apparatus, a voltage-measuring apparatus, and a controllable first measurement switching apparatus, which can be switched between a conducting position, a measurement position, and a disconnection position, wherein in the measurement position the first current-measuring apparatus is connected between the first power input and the first power output in order to measure the current, and in the conducting position the first power input is connected to the first power output without interposition of the first current-measuring apparatus, and in the disconnection position the first power input is electrically isolated from the first power output. The device further comprises a controllable second measurement switching apparatus, which can be switched between an active position and a passive position, wherein in the active position the voltage-measuring apparatus is connected in such a way that a voltage can be measured in order to determine a potential difference between the first power input and the second power input, and a communication apparatus, by means of which information regarding the measured current and the measured voltage can be transmitted and control signals for controlling the first and second measurement switching apparatuses can be received. |
