The disc structure has a transparent plate (1,2) that comprises two parallel surfaces and a peripheral edge. A frame (14) is provided for framing the transparent plate in framing area and in edge region, to hold transparent plate. One of the surfaces of transparent plate is arranged in a recess (8). An LED (10) is arranged in the regions of the recess for emitting visible light in the transparent plate plane which is parallel to the surfaces of transparent plate or for irradiating or radiating visible light to surfaces parallel to plane of transparent plate. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing disc structure.
