<p>A fishing rod supporting apparatus, which is mounted on the user's belt, for supporting a fishing rod comprises: a base; a belt supporting unit connected to the base so as to be able to pivot and be capable of being selectively coupled to and separated from the belt; a rotating body installed to be rotatable with respect to the base; and a clamping unit installed on the rotating body to resiliently clamp a fishing rod. The clamping unit includes: a pair of pincer units each rotatably connected about a pivoting axis in the middle, for clamping the fishing rod according to the pivoting position thereof; and a resilient member installed on the rotating body to provide resilient force to the pair of pincer units in order for the pincer units to clamp the fishing rod by means of the resilient force. The pair of pincer units has a connecting unit for connecting and supporting the fishing rod, and an interfering unit projecting into the connecting unit and pressed by the fishing rod; both ends of the resilient member resiliently press the opposite sides of the connecting unit about the pivoting axis in order to maintain an open state when the pair of pincer units are in the open state, and are installed to resiliently press the connecting unit about the pivoting axis in order to maintain a closed state in the state in which the clamping units are closed to clamp the fishing rod.</p> |
