FIELD: instrument making.SUBSTANCE: aircraft (AC) speed is measured relative to air. A distance travelled by the AC is reckoned relative to air. The ground speed and/or coordinates of AC location are measured by any available method, for instance, by inertial, radio engineering or visual one. The ground speed is compared with the speed relative to air, and/or current coordinates are compared with coordinates produced by reckoning. Produced differential signals are integrated by speed and/or coordinates. The AC course, list and pitch are measured. At the same time the AC is changed over into the mode of rectilinear horizontal even flight. The wind speed is determined and saved. Then a manoeuvre is made along the course, the AC is changed into the mode of rectilinear horizontal even flight in a different course. The wind speed is again defined. Afterwards actual values of wind speed components are defined along axes of the geographic coordinate system. The device that implements the method of wind speed determination includes interrelated sensors of air speed, angles of attack and sliding, course and vertical line, ground speed and location coordinates, and also a block for detection of components of a vector of relative speed, four integrators, six amplifiers, ten summators, a unit of memory and trajectory analysis, a unit of actual wind detection.EFFECT: higher accuracy of wind speed determination on board of an AC.3 dwg |
