PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to improve brightness and 99% of color reproductivity based on an sRGB standard by changing the peak wavelength of green light among LED light spectrum to long wavelength range by using a color filter. CONSTITUTION: RGB(Red,Green,Blue) color filter patterns(126a-126c) are repetitively formed in a liquid crystal panel(110) corresponding to each pixel region. Each LED(Light Emitting Diode) of a backlight unit is white light emitting diodes for blue chips including red and green phosphor. The green phosphor is silicate, silicate or nitride phosphor having the peak wavelength of 532 to 536 nm. The x axis of the green color filter pattern is in a color range of 0.292 to 0.301 in a xy color coordinate. The y axis of the green color filter pattern has the color spot of 0.607.
