PROTECTIVE PLATE PLACING METHOD AND PRODUCT CARRYING OUT DEVICE USED FOR THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transporting protective plates and placing the protective plates over products in a product stacking portion; and a product carrying out device used for the method.

SOLUTION: The method for placing protective plates over planar products machined by a plate material working machine includes: carrying out products WB machined by the plate material working machine 1 to a product stacking portion 5 by a product carrying out means 9 which can freely carry out the products WB to the product stacking portion 5 and thereafter transferring a protective plate 13 from a protective plate stacking portion 15 arranged corresponding to a transfer path of the product carrying out unit 9 and placing the protective plates 13 over the products carried out to the product stacking portion 5 by the product carrying out means 9. On this occasion, a plurality of the protective plates 13 are transported individually from the protective plate stacking portion 15 and placed over a plurality of the products WB carried out to the product stacking portion 5 and arranged in adjacent to each other.
