<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a drive device for hybrid vehicle that greatly improves fuel consumption without missing the opportunity of regenerative power generation and can end two operations in a shorter time than before by simultaneous control of upshift speed change operation of a transmission and release operation of a clutch. <P>SOLUTION: When an upshift speed change determination Us and a clutch engagement command Cc are continuously generated in a priority decision time Tf, two operations are simultaneously controlled, and a release side frictional engagement element is released (release pressure PA is decompressed by t2-t4).
