The method involves forming spacer fabric (2) with cavity (8). The covering layers (1) provided between the foil bag (3) are warmed-up by contacting two molding surfaces (4) having low contact pressure. The covering layers are compressed and sealed by the blank holder (7) such that the outermost surface layers of the covering layers form an airtight envelope around spacer fabric. The spacers (6) are fixed with the hollow plate (5). The spacer fabric is formed of reaction resin composition. The covering layers are formed of multi-ply fabric, or aramid or carbon fiber.
